What are you passionate about?

Being a missionary does not just mean you’re going overseas, and participating in the Great Commission does not just mean your full-time job must be a pastor or working in a church. The Bible calls every single Believer to live out their daily lives as a mission field, using any and every opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus. This translates into our jobs, our families, our schools, and even the mundane tasks like grocery shopping.

We aren’t just called to go to church on Sunday mornings, but to live like Jesus every single day. To do this, we have to work towards becoming like Him by getting to know Him more and more each day. A wonderful leader once put it this way, “We must rest in salvation and strive toward sanctification.” Once you give your life to Jesus, that’s not the end of the story. He has a wonderful and beautiful plan for your life, and He can and will use you in powerful ways every day if you let Him. This, my friends, is the Great Commission — that people would become believers of Jesus, and believers of Jesus would become disciples of Jesus.

There is so much need around you, and whether Jesus calls you to the nations or to your backyard, He is calling you to GO.

Where it oftentimes gets confusing is in the practicalities of ministry. Maybe you already know that you’re called to love your neighbor, but you don’t know how to effectively reach your community. This is where The Global Prayer Army would love to be a resource for you. Please fill out the form at the bottom of this page, and we’d love to walk alongside you in your passions and gifts, as well as connect you with ministries and community near you.

The Church is in great need for fear to be broken off and boldness to preach the Gospel to come in. Along with evangelism, however, there are a multitude of ways the Lord may be asking you to serve your community. May you be reminded, though, not to dismiss your homes as you go love on people in the streets. Sometimes, the greatest and the hardest, most refining, ministry for us is to be made sanctified in our relationships and interactions with those closest to us.

Please fill out this form so we can pray with you and walk alongside you where the Lord may be leading you to step out!
